Young Entrepreneurs Programme
In May, BOP Industries, a leading Australian Education Company visited Onslow to inspire young people to start their own business.
The action-packed programme saw attendees hearing from inspirational speakers, exploring the business ideas they could start and developing their entrepreneurial skills.
They were supported to find a business idea, create a brand, develop a product or service to sell, and to create a basic business model to get started.
As a follow on from The Young Entrepreneurs Session we are excited to be hosting Business Mentor sessions to help attendees to make their business idea come to life.
The Onslow Young Entrepreneurs
We are excited to welcome our young entrepreneurs back in Term 3!
Sessions will now be held on Tuesdays from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM with the first session taking place in Week 2 on Tuesday 23rd July.
We look forward to another fantastic term helping you bring your business vision to life.
Sessions will include things like:
Building your brand / logo on Canva
Designing your product or service
Building your online presence eg, Facebook & Instagram pages
Pricing
Guest Speakers
Support to apply for startup funding to kick start your business, for those who commit to the program

Business Mentor Expression of Interest:
Are you a local business owner who would be interested in sharing your knowledge with young people, to help bring their business ideas to life?
After the workshop, to continue to support our young people in their business venture, we are looking for guest speakers and/or mentors to come and help them bring their business ideas to life.
Are you an inspiring community member, with experience in starting a small business? Are you willing to share your own firsthand experiences in starting a business, and answer any questions our budding entrepreneurs may have?
Whatever level of support you are willing to offer, we want to hear from you!
