FIRE WARDEN TRAINING - HALF DAY COURSE
PUAFER005 Operate as part of an emergency control organisation
This course covers the skills and knowledge required to implement the emergency response specified in the workplace emergency procedures or by a person at a higher level in the emergency control organisation (ECO).
It equips ECO members with the skills and knowledge required to work within the Command, Control, and Coordination structure of an Emergency Control Organisation so wardens can response and operate as part of an emergency control organisation.
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
• Respond to emergency reports, signals and warnings
• Initiate and control initial emergency response
• Understanding human behaviour
• Anticipate further development of emergencies
• Assist with pre-emergency and post-emergency actions
• Understand the role of the ECO and its command structure
• Operating as part of the emergency control organisation

- Cancellation Policy: There is a 14-day cancellation policy; cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled course will not be eligible for a refund.
- Appropriate PPE must be worn on the day - long sleeve shirt, long pants, work boots, gloves and hard hat.
- No food or catering provided at this course
